Taping is an indispensable tool in supporting the injured or pain-affected athlete, particularly at an elite level. One of its key strengths is undoubtedly its versatility: the term "taping" generally refers to a set of different techniques, carried out with different objectives and materials, adapted each time to the specific needs and issues of the individual athlete.
The course does not merely aim to describe and demonstrate the most common taping techniques used in sports, but to explain the rationale, mechanisms, and purposes behind them, thereby providing the essential theoretical grounding needed to apply them effectively and independently on athletes.
Taping, in short, is a purely manual act if one does not understand the rationale for its applications; the course aims to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical solutions, with a physiotherapy team holding many years of experience at Juventus FC.
